"Read folder" not work with mtd server but work in simulator

I tried to use the "Read folder" to read folder and then load and save all files into server database. in simulator it work without problem but with in PC web browser when pressing the button no dialogue box open and it does not work.

further info: on client side user use PC browser to connect to MTD server select folder and load all files into server. i checked browser permission for local file accsess etc as in FF, chrome, Edge. tried to inspect when pressing the button but it shoes BlockUI library activity that disapear soon and nothing happen.

User chosen directories and client-side "Read Folder" actions are not possible for the web client.

Please also see the corresponding warning in the Log:
Read Folder requested the client to provide a file.
For user chosen files, no file information can be retrieved in web client.

What's possible: to upload single user chosen files (by using the "Load/Save File" action)

Thank you. Currently I dont have access to server log. I am not sure but actually I did not see such warning/information in the log. so will check it later.

Yes I was aware of single file upload but the case is that there is a bunch of file that loading them like that is boring and time consuming task. Therefore was looking for a way to solve it within mtd. as it seems I should process the file in a single file on client pc into one file and then load and process it in web client.
