I watch video Building a Mobile RSS News Reader. According it i make same actions for creating a mobile app solution in MobileTogether Designer. This demonstrating has length: 08:38 (mm:ss). At time moment 02:42 of this video it is proposed concrete action - insert label as xml:item in table by drag and drop item element from page sources. I begin to repeat this action in my beta version of MobileTogether Designer, but program gives me only message-menu as chart or image instead long list - button, chart, check box, combo box, date, edit field, image, label and so on. WHY?

This happens only if you (unintentionally?) checked "Keep data on server" context menu for this tree (you will see "Server only" under Page Sources).
Keep data on server will make sure that data is never transferred from server to client, which is great for performance, but also means that it is impossible to edit or visualize this data on client. Chart and Image are two exceptions, because they are always created on server and sent to Client ready for display.
Uncheck Keep data on server and everything will be fine.

This is a defect in the current version of designer. Alex likely did not check that radio button as the default (data is copied to the client) appears to not always be respected.
If I create a new page source and only change the two options listed in the demo video, I also see this behaviour.
Full repro steps. Version 1.0 beta 1, 32 bit version:
1. Add new Page Source 2. Click read-only XML radio 3. Click 'new XML or HTML structure imported from file' radio 4. Observe 'data is copied to client' radio is defaulted to on 5. Click OK 6. Switch to URL 7. Paste in RSS feed url 8. Okay/ No deploy 9. Add table (repeating, 1 column, 3 rows) 10. Drag 'item' from the rss source to the table. 'Chart' and 'Image' are your only options.
As you note, right clicking on the XML source after and unchecking that option does fix the issue.

We will try to reproduce and fix this (quick trial didn't showcase the issue)
