I am evaulating MobileTogether to replace and expand on existing custom mobile apps written using C++ and Qt technologies. Accessing and updating our data (both on device and central) seems to be well covered.
- Can I incorporate my own controls, like our existing notation one? - Can I play these media types? - Can I play just a small range of a given media, eg, a 10 second slice from 1:30 to 1:40 of media file? - Do you have existing play controls? - For situations where a student is being examined, I need to ensure that media to be played has been cached locally before starting. Is that possible?
Thanks for your advice!

The answer to your questions is currently no. But the good news - possibility to play video and audio files is currently our most frequent request, therefore we are already working on both and plan to come out with v2.2 by mid May. The kind of media you can play depends only on by whatever the corresponding platform supports, the official lists are really long. Here are links for Android and Windows: http://developer.android...endix/media-formats.htmlhttp://msdn.microsoft.co...-camera/supported-codecsApple doesn't seem to have such link, but you can find a lot of infos by searching with Google.
