Have you got an mtd calling an sql server stylevision document remotely from the client app. If you have the stylevision files then this would be a great help as I just need to see the calling files/folders and the links.

MobileTogether Designer comes with lots of samples which showcase its possibilities
One of them is the Patient Registration Form which demonstrates printing to PDF

In order to print to pdf from mobiletogether do I need stylevision, stlyevision server and flow server.

You only need the StyleVision Server to actually execute Print command
But you also have to design how your PDF must look like. For the design you need StyleVision

I have downloaded stylevision server and it is licensed but there is no icon to log into it. How does all this link together from creating an sps and then requesting a pdf from the mobile app.
Also I have run the patient mtd and it crashed because it is not registered with a license server. The server is remote so how do I tell it where the stylevision server is located.

You need Stylevision to design your pxf file. Stylevision has a GUI. You need StylevisionServer to run the pxf file i.e. to transform the xml into pdf. StylevisionServer does not have a GUI i.e. there is no "icon to log into". StylevisionServer has to be installed on the same machine as MobileTogetherServer.

Nigel, you can find answer to most of your questions in documentation. It will save you a lot of trial and error time, especially if you are on a tight schedule like you recently said
