I use Windows 10 x64 and have installed MyCollections.
The application starts up, but stops with the initial conmnection at step 8.
My VPN is off, my firewall is set to low, which accepts all outgoing traffic.
Can somebody help me with this problem?

What do you mean with step 8? Can you send a screenshot? Or even better - record the screen during the start?

Ok, thank you. Have been confused initially, because nobody has ever reported something like this.

Do you have enouhg space on disk? This is error when saving sample images to the disk. Maybe there is a setting for your apps not to be able to write to the disk.

In any case - there is nothing we can do here.

I have 215 GB on disk. Why is there no normal installer, so I do not have to use the Microsoft Store?

You can make a call to Microsoft, as it is their Store you use to install it on my computer.

Do you have a single disk or multiple?

Here is a good collections of steps you can do on your computer to make sure the apps install properly

https://helpdeskgeek.com...ing-apps-11-ways-to-fix/

Take a look at all steps, though the step 5 looks mostly promising to me

Killing the Microsoft Store was the solution.
