I'm interested in testing the beta. But the opening description reads ... Quote:MobileTogether® is a cross-platform, drag-and-drop mobile development platform for creating business app solutions for all mobile devices in record time. No Linux offering? I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (but I do have Vista in dual boot mode).

MobileTogether consists of three components: - The Designer. This is the only component which is Windows only.
- The Server. Will be available on Windows, Linux, and Mac - as all other Altova Servers. Current limitation to Windows is specific to this beta only
- The Clients. Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Windows 8.x, and even HTML5 for Browser execution

MobileTogether Server is priced as an annual subscription based on the number of devices connected to the server, starting with €400 for 10 devices per year (or US$ 500 for US customers). That's about €3,33 per device per month (or US$ 4.16). Volume discounts are available for larger number of devices.

Thanks. Sounds resonable.
But how about options for software developing companies? Or this solution is meant only for inhouse development?

Altova MobileTogether is intended for building in-house or enterprise mobile solutions, including electronic forms and dashboards, that focus on enabling your workforce to connect with your data and be more productive. As such, our goal is to provide a platform that makes development and distribution of such mobile solutions efficient and easy and that has strong database back-end connectivity to interface with existing IT infrastructure. This is very different from other mobile development environments that focus on creating external customer-facing apps that can be submitted to the app stores.
While it is possible to build mobile solutions with Altova MobileTogether that act in stand-alone mode and don’t require a permanent data connection to the server, these solutions still require Altova MobileTogether server for their initial deployment.
