We have installed the requied server software for Mobile Together. We are able to log onto the server via Internet Explorer. We are able to deploy forms to the server via Mobile Together Designer. However, we are unable to view the forms within the IOS app on iPads.

We have attempted different configurations on the server page within the app. We either get the "Connection Error - Unsupported URL" error or the error stating no workflows for this user.

On the server we can see the demo workflows, but are unable to see them on the IOS app either.

Could you please let us know what we are doing wrong or what is configured wrong.

Thanks,
Sheral

Are you able to see applications from the predefined Demo server on your iPads?

We can see the solutions from the "Demo" server. However, when I click on a solution, as soon as I begin to fill out the first page, the application crashes and shuts down.

We will discuss tomorrow a possible issue with "Connection Error" which you get reported (and with crashes), but the reason why your iOS device doesn't show your apps might be simply because Apple still did not yet manage to publish beta2 like all other platforms did. We can only guess that Apple is currently a little overwelmed by the amount of updates caused with iOS8 and iPhone6 launches. Sorry! Do you only have iOS devices to try? If not, do you see your apps on Android/WindowsPhone/Windows8 devices?

I have to add that beta 1 for iOS had the most issues from all platforms (including crashes), and we did everything to make iOS beta 2 a lot more stable. Unfortunately you will need to be a little patient and wait until the beta 2 appears on the App Store. We have no chance to synchronize versions on all platforms, because Google, for example, only needs few hours to get approval. Beta 2 has been posted to all shops on September 16th.

We only have IOS devices to test it on. We currently have 200+ IOS devices. Thank you for your time and answers. The error I get now is "mob core_NoWorkflowsForUser"

We have discussed everything internally once again and came to conclusion that you indeed don't see any workflows because of the version mismatch.

Crashes with the Demo samples could be caused by iOS 8 - beta 1 was released before iOS 8 was available and it was not compatible.

So it looks like beta 2 should resolve all your issues.

I'm happy to let you know, that Beta 2 is now also available in the AppStore, "just" 15 days after our application.

On another side, this confirms advantage of making applications with MobileTogether - they are available for your customers in the very moment you deploy them to the server!

In future we will turn the whole version update process the opposite way - we will start with Apple and other stores approvals, and only then we will publish the new version of Designer and Server, so that Clients and Designer/Server always match each other.
