A simple solution by reading the clipboard is not elegant but will do the trick as a first step

To get a better idea: are you talking about barcodes or QR codes?

First of all I personally need only 1D EAN8 and EAN13 code fast an accurate. But todays scanner apps deliver nearly every code. For iOS look here : http://cocologics.com/ba...0-komplett-uberarbeitet/I guess theese guys have the right solution. I tested their app, it even reads through 2 or three layers of transparent foil of wrapped pallet to identify the barcode labeled items on it.
