XQuery 3.1 includes JSON support. What's best practise for a lot of JSON input, either convert to XML in backend or using XQuery. Any suggestions (performance)?
Thanks

If you have to process a lot of JSON files I would suggest to wait for the upcoming v2.0 (due September/October) which will support JSON sources and will convert them on the fly to XML for XQuery processing and back for saving.

You must understand that XQuery functionality defined by standard supports only some specific kinds of JSON files, whereas our internal JSON <=> XML converter will convert any JSON file lossless.

Great! Are there any further news for V2.0 available? I'm just evaluating MT and so it would be helpful to know.
Thanks

I would hate to promise something which might not get completed in time. Support for JSON sources is done.
