Is there a way to add sticky controls to a page? By sticky I mean for example buttons that always stay at the top or bottom when scrolling.

You mean like e.g. the "New Patient" sample has?
Please also look into the ScrollableTable tutorial. ScrollableTable.mtd is part of your MT Designer installation, so you can try out immediately.

In short:
You can put your "normal" controls on top/bottom of your page and need a table with "Maximal Table Height" setting for the scrollable/variable area.
Also see Table Properties.
