I am using a button with the Print icon. When using the "Control Action When Button Clicked" option I do not see an option to open the print dialog box. I have searched the User Manual that describes it but does not show how to open it. How do I open the Print Dialog Box without having the user type Crtl+P? jwatt222 attached the following image(s):

Hello jwatt222! Unsure, what you mean with 'print dialog box'!? As you said, 'Print' is just an icon on a button. Per default, there are no actions behind. If you want to create a pdf/word/rtf file (e.g. for later printing), you can use the 'Print To' action in the "Control Action When Button Clicked" options.

Not talking about the Print To action used with Stylevision. See the attached screenshot from the manual. jwatt222 attached the following image(s):

This is the print dialog of the MobileTogether Designer. Here you can print the currently active design page (as it is shown on the active simulation device).
But this is nothing which can be used at runtime on the client, where you have much more possibilities and options what to present in which way on a printout. This is why there is the "Print To" action, where you can exactly define what to print in which format.

Since the Print icon is already listed in the list of Button images, What else can it be used for since there is already a Print PDF and a Print Word Button image? I don't understand why I wouuld need the Print icon in the Button images in designer mode if I can use the Print PDF or Print Word Button Image instead.
Since the Print To Action requires Stylevision, which requires another $600 server before you can use it, Wouldn't it be cost effective to help decrease the cost to users by allowing the Print icon to be used in the design to call the print dialog box? This would be very useful especially when the app is used on the PC. This way you wouldn't have to tell the user to use CTRL+P and it wouldn't require the cost of another server.
Maybe in a future version upgrade?

For example, you can also right click on a page in the when using the app on PC and select Microsoft print to PDF as your printer to save a copy of the full Page. However not everyone knows this or to use CTRL+P. So this is why it would be useful to be able to click on the print icon with a On Button Clicked Control Action.

So, I still don't have an answer. How do you print the currently active design page (as it is shown on the active simulation device) using the Print icon of the MobileTogether Designer (As shown in the Manual) to open the Print Diaogue Box?

You need to differentiate between the designer and the app. The designer is a classic Windows applications and uses its own rules to print. The app (or solution) is a mobile applications which cannot use the same procedure to print.
So, if you are talking about - how to print a screenshot of your app? Each system (iOS, Android, Windows) has its own means of printing just screenshots. If you are asking whether your app is able to print its own image - no this is currently not available

I did ask about the designer and not the App.
You stated earlier: "This is the print dialog of the MobileTogether Designer. Here you can print the currently active design page (as it is shown on the active simulation device)."
So I asked: "How do you print the currently active design page (as it is shown on the active simulation device) using the Print icon of the MobileTogether Designer (As shown in the Manual) to open the Print Diaogue Box?"
Assume that I am using Windows. Please refer to my earlier screenshot (showing the icon, the shortcut, the description, and the options). The instructions on how to use this is not in the manual. So please tell me:
"How do you print the currently active design page (as it is shown on the active simulation device) using the Print icon of the MobileTogether Designer (As shown in the Manual) to open the Print Diaogue Box?"
Step 1, Step 2, etc,.

Let me just understand it better. You are using the Designer where you've created an app. You are then starting the simulation. And now during the simulation you want to "open the print dialog" like you would do within the Designer itself. Did I get all right?
We have to ask, because you seem to confuse two different worlds, but maybe we are simply misunderstanding something.

Start wherever you would like, and I will ask the same question, please tell me:
As shown in the Manual and using the icon. Tell me how to open the Print Dialogue Box.

As shown in the Manual - just click the Print icon in the MobileTogether Designer toolbar.
