Log in fails if user password contains "#" (Hash) character - Error message "Connection Error - Invalid URL" is issued

As part of Windows extended password policy, special characters may be required in user passwords
At least if password contains a hash character, log in fails with the above message.

FYI: the problem with # in passwords is resolved internally. Fix will be available in v1.4
