Hi all

I'm creating an application that will be used on ships as well as on shore.
I would like to enable the application to access the server whenever possible, but it also has to run without an internet connection.

I've found all kinds of caching mechanisms (server and client side) but none seem to work for me as the app will not start once connection is lost.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Thanks!

Hi Roeland,

In the Project Properties, you have the possibility to define the "Server Access" mode: always, on demand or never.

As documented there, for your case on demand might be perfect in combination with usage of the XPath function mt-has-server-access.

Hope this helps.
