I can't seem to find a straight forward way to include a navigation bar as a footer which is permanently on top. Also, I can't see a swipe left or swipe right event to use for various elements. Am I missing something? I really need to have this kind of functionality.

thanks

You are right - both things are missing yet. The very next feature we are already working on is support for scrollable parts of the screen, so that you can implement such navigation bars, or scroll parts of the tables - this will come in the very next minor release. Support for guestures like swipe is coming after this.

ok, thanks for the info. It looks like I'll have to go native then for the short term at least.

Do you have any information concerning a date when the next minor release will be available?
I have the same issue. I need this update to create a navigation bar and also a left / right swipe.

Thanks

The next release will come with tons of new features, beside the scrollable table areas. We are still few weeks away from completion though

Any release date coming soon? I really need this functionality or I'm going to have to get native developpers instead of using Altova.

Hi,

sorry for waiting - as previously said this release will have a whole lot of new features, therefore it took us longer to get it done.

Nevertheless, we plan to release clients on all platforms and Designer/Server by the end of March.

Just in case you didn't notice, the new version is live since last week and includes over 30 new features. Have fun!

Is the navigation bar/footer implemented now? (in v5.0 of 'Designer') ? I can't see a control for this..?

Thanks,
James

A specific control would be too inflexible. MobileTogether has a much more sophisticated possibility. See Scrollable Tables tutorial
