I volunteer for a running club and would like to put many of the club's processes into apps on people's phones. MobileTogether seems ideal for this but it does require new runners to install and setup the client on their phone. While all of us in this forum would consider this to be an easy task, many runners are non-technical and many would simply not do it.
I know that there is an option to create code for a dedicated app and there is an option to run in a browser. However, the fast development time for the MT client seems most useful at the moment and I'm having difficulties with the browser.
So I wonder if there is a URL that I can send out to club members which both installs the client from the app store and sets up the IP address, port, etc for the application server inside it?
Best regards,
James

Yes, you can do this in two steps: First, the URL for installing MobileTogether client. All the links in their corresponding app stores are available here: http://www.altova.com/download/mobiletogether.htmlSecond an URL to configure it to use correct server. See "Updating server settings on client devices" om this part of documentation http://manual.altova.com...mtdproject_deploying.htm
