What would be the steps necessary to move your server from your computer to a cloud hosting plan?

Haven't found it in the manual. Currently server is on computer using a static ip. Would like to host it in the cloud.

Thanks,

I don't think there is any difference between hosting the server on your computer vs cloud computer. Static IP should not matter.

Reason for question is concern about retaining customer licenses;

If you have a compiled app posted to an app store, then this is probably not going to work, because you have to retain the same domain name which is not possible with a cloud as far as I know.

If you are talking about a MobileTogether solution, then you simply redeploy it - that's it.

This is helpful. I had a planned meeting with Azure on Tuesday but now that I know that it would not work for the appstore apps, it's better to stay with what I'm using. I am out in the country and have had to rely on generator due to recent storms and power outages more than I am comfortable with and was looking for a better option based on fuel cost.

Thanks,

Solved with the template from Altova here: https://azuremarketplace...er_platform?tab=Overview

I was able to finally set this up myself. Was able to re-point my domain to the microsoft azure virtual machine.
