Hello, i created an app in which the user can save an image, either a new one or from the gallery. The pictures that are new taken randomly switch their rotation 90°, which depends on the device. So on IphoneX everything is alright, on Iphone8 its rotated. Does someone has a solution for this problem?
PS: Atm I use manual correction as a workaround.

Hi Yannic,
we've tested this with an iPhone 6+ (iOS 12.4) as well as an iPhone 11 (iOS 13.2) today and we could not reproduce a problem with taking a photo that then returns in a wrong orientation. Both iPhones mentioned above return the same orientations in the exif data and also display ok.
Can you check your iOS version number on the iPhone 8? Also if it is possible, an example design that reproduces the issue on your phone would be helpful, so we can rule this out.
best regards Mip

The solution attached to this post has the same logic than the original one. When I use this with my samsung tablet, all pictures i take vertical are turned by 90°. Edit: Samsung Galaxy tab A (2016) with Android 8.1 Edit2: Also tried it on tp-link Neffos TP705A with Android 8.1 and the pictures DONT turn.
