I am creating an app giving the user the option to "search" for a specific record by the number associated with it.
I have an edit field where the user would type a number.

After clicking on the button to "search by number", the user has to then click on the edit field in order to pop-up the numeric keyboard. Instead, I want the cursor to go to that Edit field auomatically (after the user clicks the button), so that all he has to do is type the number.

Is this possible?

Yes, you can use the Scroll To action with option Control where you select the edit field control. It will scroll to this edit field, if scrolling is necessary at all, and then set the focus
